The liquid-cooled, double overhead camshafts (DOHC) engine with four valves per cylinder delivers 49.4 ft-lbs (67 Nm) of torque at 8,500 rpm for excellent response throughout the rev range. The 659cc powerplant features Ride-By-Wire engine management with dual 48mm throttle bodies, providing precise fuel delivery and throttle control across varying riding conditions.
